I Want To Be A Successful And Outstanding Blogger
Does that title sound desperate or optimistic? Hopefully optimistic, and with all the great resources out there, it's just a matter of time...(and key product placement in TV sitcoms, but that's another story!)
Yesterday, I participated in an "open mike" session at Successful Blog where a great group of people chatted about a number of critical subjects facing the Internet and bloggers today.
Here are some highlights:
- What's the relationship between Steve's moose and Ben's donkey?
- Net Neutrality (Read more here)
- Switching from Blogger to Wordpress. I've been thinking about doing this for awhile, and I probably will within the next few days. Any thoughts, insights, questions, etc. are appreciated. I've heard Bluehost is the way to go for hosting.
- What actors would play all of the "open mike" participants in a movie. I tried for Tom Cruise but then went with Paul Giamatti. Sure Giamatti's not much to look at but he's got talent and seems like a nice guy.
Apparently they do an "open mike" regularly (every Tuesday?), and you can check out all the details here.
Thanks to Liz Strauss for the great blog on PR, branding, blogging and more. Definitely worth a read.

I thought about doing a post just like this one today. Except for the headline, of course. Well, no one has made me a Successful and Outstanding Blogger yet either though . . . hmmmm
Liz :)
Liz :)
It was a pleasure meeting you yesterday at the open mike Liz, and thanks for the blog.
The title of your blog really stands out for me, so that's where the title of this post comes from of course.

Yea, if my moose mated with your donkey what would it be? Mookey? Doose?
I sure hope it isn't a monkey...
