Yesterday, I posted about my MySpace profile and my experiment with it. I contacted a bunch of people and within the span of a few hours I had 40+ friends, some of which came to my profile and commented, others which contacted me directly. I noticed that one of those friends, jonBoy (as he's known on MySpace) had written a book, called "What is a Limerick?" He looks like a funny guy, and the book looks like fun, so I sent him a comment asking if he'd be interested in donating a prize to IGotNewsForYou.com's Fake Funny News Writing Contest. A couple of messages back and forth through MySpace, and voila, jonBoy donates his book. Easy as pie and a great addition to the prizes we already have! You can buy the book directly from there and I think it could be a fun, unique gift for someone into limericks, poetry and silliness. I want to thank jonBoy (whose real name is Jonathan Dean) for donating the book, and take this time to thank all of the people donating prizes. This is also a good time to remind people that I extended the duration of the contest to July 14th to allow people the time to get their submissions in.
