From time to time, as new readers come onboard, it seems worthwhile to send out a quick "hello, how are you?" message to let people know you appreciate their participation and readership. And, I don't want to forget old readers either...you're all appreciated immensely. Yesterday I reflected on 10 years as an entrepreneur, and today my reflections continue. This blog has been live since January 2006, which is certainly not long, but in "blog years" things are accelerated. It's evolved considerably over time, mostly due to you, the reader, helping me take it where it should go. Topic suggestions, ideas, feedback...all of these things have guided the blog along the way. And my own research and thoughts as well, have evolved the blog beyond where I thought it might go. At times it's gotten a bit more serious than I had originally intended, but hopefully my crackling wit remains true enough to my original intentions, since IGotNewsForYou itself is all about fun, I wanted this place to be fun too. No dry reads. No dull management-speak.Business insights wrapped in a pita of playfulness. One thing I certainly underestimated was the volume of learning that can be accomplished through blogging. In many ways blogging necessitates learning. If you're going to put yourself out there and really get involved with the greater community of bloggers in your fields of interest, you're going to have to start learning big-time. If you're a new reader, or an old reader trying to figure out, "what's he rambling on about?" I'll sum up here: The IGotNewsForYou blog is about my experiences and knowledge of entrepreneurship, business, marketing and technology with a heavy dose of humor thrown in. I really heavily on outside inspiration, but want to make sure this is my voice; hopefully original, funny and worthwhile. Thank you for being here, please stick around and help me become more and more a part of the community of bloggers.
