I started this latest go-around of IGotNewsForYou with my father. I provide help with the website, overall business goals/direction, marketing and toss in a few funny one-liners every so often. Since my 2nd year in university I've been an entrepreneur, and I currently work in the software industry, helping run a company that's been around for 9 years. I'm always looking for opportunities, so when my father came back to me with IGotNewsForYou I decided it was time to really make it happen.

Aside from my experience in the world of web and software development, I also wrote a book. Yup. I'm a published author. It was years ago (1998) and I should have gotten paid more for it (ah well), but here it is: The Buzzword Bingo Book.

It's amazing how many opportunities exist on the Internet, and how many creative people are out there every day building new software products or coming up with interesting and unique ways to earn a living.

I love the idea that my dad is breaking into the world of entrepreneurship - I've always believed that it's the most exciting, challenging and rewarding way to work. I also think IGotNewsForYou is hysterical, so I hope to do what I can to promote the idea and the business, and help make it a success.

Within this blog, I hope to talk about things related to the business, entrepreneuriship, my experiences, and also to touch on the lighter side of what's going on in the world. Everyone deserves to laugh once in awhile, and I'm always on the lookout for the bizarre, ridiculous and absurd.
