When you join IGotNewsForYou.com, you are asked for your name (we like to communicate with you on a more personal basis), your email address (that's how we identify you when you login) and your country of origin (so we can determine if we have to account for Canadian Goods and Services Tax...yuch).

We will not divulge any of this information to any third party now or any time in the future. You would have to be a complete idiot to do something like that.

If we could ever get up off our lazy butts to actually do any real work, we might send out periodic member newsletters with the usual blah blah blah about new features, exciting developments, etc. etc. etc.

When you send a NewsForYou page from our site, the site will automatically email your recipient telling them what a great gift you just created for them and where they can see it, and the site will email you as well, letting you know the process has been completed. You will also be informed of non-delivered emails.

When your annual subscription is about to expire, you will receive a maximum of three email renewal reminders. If you don't renew after the third reminder, we won't trouble you again. We may however, hold a small rememberance get-together at a local bar to sadly recall and toast our past relationship.

We will, of course, reply to your help requests, comments, praises and, yeah okay, criticisms too. We may send you some administrative correspondence but we'd prefer not to bother you at all, really.
You can choose not to receive member newsletters by simply indicating that to us in an email with your password (to confirm that you are who you say you are).

As a necessary part of the process of creating a personalized NewsForYou page, you enter specific details about you and your recipient which are stored in our database. We will not divulge any of this information to any third party.

We may use the information submitted by you, collected by periodic polls and your comments to improve our site and our service. For example, if we see that many people prefer one particular style of story, we may decide to create more stories like that. We won't share this information with anyone. We plan to be in business for a long time. We can't do that without your trust and we'll work very hard to gain, and maintain that trust.
